I ended up subscribing to Alice Oseman's patreon because I desperately needed early access to Volume 4。 What started out as a fluffy coming-of-age and coming out feel-good story turned out to be so much more - mental health struggles， parents learning how to support children with mental health needs， demystifying therapy and psychiatric treatment， big queer found family， protective sibling relationship， and what love can and cannot do。 I also just realised that Aled in this series is the same Al I ended up subscribing to Alice Oseman's patreon because I desperately needed early access to Volume 4。 What started out as a fluffy coming-of-age and coming out feel-good story turned out to be so much more - mental health struggles， parents learning how to support children with mental health needs， demystifying therapy and psychiatric treatment， big queer found family， protective sibling relationship， and what love can and cannot do。 I also just realised that Aled in this series is the same Aled from Radio Silence。 I'm going to devour the Solitaire series that is from this same universe。 。。。more

4。5 ⭐️this was my favorite volume by far！i’ve never seen such an honest representation of ocd and eating disorders， and that comes from someone who has struggled with both。 alice oseman keeps managing to perfectly depict the life and thoughts of a mentally ill， queer teenager。 i love that so much about her storytelling。p。s。: i know chapter 6 still has 1 or 2 updates that are yet to come， but i’m sure it won’t change my rating or review， so yeah！ :-）

Excuse me while I lay in bed heartbroken ಥ_ಥBTW， if you want to read the series， you can go to Line Webtoons and Tumblr to read the whole thing。 Most of the mini comics are available in tumblr than Webtoon。 Just be sure to read the trigger warnings！ Especially for this Volume since it talks heavily about mental health。

i’m up to date with everything there is on webtoon so i’m counting this as read :）this volume was sad but i also think the author managed everything pretty well。 alice oseman couldn’t have dealt with charlie’s mental illnes any better and it’s really important to be informed and aware of stuff like this。but yeah。。。 i love this graphic novels sm！！btw， check tw before reading please <3
